Resiliency Initiatives provides training to human service providers in the following areas:
- An introduction to assessing developmental strengths and understanding child, youth and family resiliency:
This training session provides a basic overview of resiliency, a summary of the literature that supports it and introduces the developmental strengths framework for understanding core competencies, risk and protective factors in the lives of children, youth and adults. - Administration & Interpretation of Profiles:
This training provides educators with practical strategies to administer and interpret resiliency questionnaires and profiles from a strength-based perspective. - Strength-based IPPs, interventions, and goal setting and outcomes assessment:
This session outlines parameters and practical strategies for the development of programming, service plans and assessment procedures that are strength-based and enhance client resiliency. - Assessing Resiliency database training:
This session provides practical, multi-sensory training to participants in how to access and fully utilize the Assessing Resiliency database.
